The official inaugural Fukui Sakura Marathon will take place on March 31, 2024 but before that, the race organizers are hosting a 14.5km "one-third marathon" on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

The organizers of the Miyajima International Power Triathlon Championship Through the Hatsukaichi are calling it a day. Otherwise known as the Miyajima Triathlon and referred to as the "Woodman", the race is quite possibly one of the most unique bucket-list races in Japan. Since 2007, Woodman has had 13 renditions, but the curtains will close for good following the 2023 edition on June 18.
If you're in need of a free daikon radish on Sunday, March 5, the Miura International Marathon is a way to get one for "free". The name is a little misleading as there is only a single category - the half marathon. The course isn't flat - you're running to Jogashima after all.
